How do I get a referral to this office?
Patients will first see their general dentist and if their dentists feels there may be an endodontic treatment thats needed that is out of the scope of that dentist, they will refer the patient to our office. Patients may also be referred to our office through a family, friend, or self refer. Patients may also be referred to our office for a second opinion as well.
Who do you take referrals from?
We see all patients that have a specialized need of the services we provide: Endodontics only.
Will you communicate with my general dentist?
Absolutely, we will have continuous communication with your referring doctor in order to provide well-rounded services for you.
What are the payment options?
Our administrative staff will be happy to file your primary and secondary insurance as a courtesy to you. We accept most if not all HMO/PPO insurance plans. If you are presenting insurance, many times your insurance company requires a referral form to see a specialist. This will come from your dentist or insurance carrier. Please check with your insurance company regarding your need for a referral, as your insurance will not pay for services rendered without one. You may print out our referral form.
What should I expect on my first visit?
During your first visit to our office, you should expect to have a consultation with one of our top specialist, which includes a comprehensive risk assessment, x-rays, and a full detail description of your endodontic needs. After the endodontic treatment is completed, you will be informed of, if any, follow up visits and oral health goals. Patients also have the choice to schedule for treatment on a different day if not done on the initial visit.
Do I need to see my general dentist after treatment?
Yes. After your specialty needs have been completed, you will return to your general dentist for any routine services. You will be advise to contact your referring dentist for final restoration. Our patients records will be sent directly to their general dentists within 48hours of endodontic treatment.
How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, please call one of our offices during our office hours. We are also available after hours. Please leave your name and contact information and someone at our office will contact you directly on our next business day.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
Our goal is to get you in within days.
What if I need to reschedule an appointment?
Please call our office directly as soon as your plans change to reschedule your dental appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, a missed appointment fee will be charged. By giving us advance notice, we will be able to better serve you as well as our other patients in need.
Can I get work done right away?
Our first priority is to diagnose and treat any urgent conditions that pose an immediate threat to your oral health. Once your initial evaluation is completed, if time permits, patients are able to request for treatment same day.
What specialty services to you offer?
Endodontics: Encompasses the diagnosis, prevention, cause and treatment of diseases of the pulp. Often referred to as pulp canal therapy and root canal therapy.
